North Northamptonshire Council is undertaking preliminary market engagement in advance of procuring Apprenticeship Training Services through the establishment of a bespoke internal framework agreement.
The Council aims to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training to support workforce development and the delivery of its Corporate Plan priorities, including supporting communities, improving outcomes for residents, and enhancing service delivery.
The proposed framework is expected to cover a broad range of apprenticeship standards across multiple service areas, including (but not limited to):
Sub-lotting may be applied to reflect areas of specialism.
This framework will replace the current fragmented approach, where apprenticeship training is delivered through multiple contracts, enabling improved efficiency, governance, and strategic oversight.
The procurement is currently anticipated to be published in Q3 2026.
