This element of The Service includes: desktop triage (administrative and clinical triage), assessment and treatment according to pathways/guidance within The Service, or onward referral to Hospital Eye Services (HES)/other provider for patients' ongoing treatment needs.<br/><br/>• A virtual triage service for the High Peak and Glossop areas – no specific base is required as this is a virtual service. This element of the service includes: desktop (virtual administrative and clinical) triage and onward referral to commissioned community providers for assessment, and treatment or onward referral to HES/other provider for patients' ongoing treatment needs.<br/><br/>This notice is to communicate the intention to award a contract under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Competitive Process. This contract relates to a new service with the intention to award being made to a new provider. The contract will commence 2nd November 2026 for an initial term of 3 years and 5 months with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 1 year and 7 months. |
