Description
The conflicts in southeast Europe and the Middle East provide the clearest indication that the availability of a robust and reliable Global Navigation Satellite Signal (GNSS) signal will be one of the first casualties of modern conflict. To operate in GNSS Denied and Degraded Environments (D2E), NAVY must develop and deploy reliable Alternative Precise Navigation and Timing (Alt PNT) technologies to augment classical PNT capabilities at pace, to improve its operational resilience.
The Cyber Risk Profile for this requirement identified by the Cyber Security Model (CSM) Risk Assessment is Level 1.
