This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is in relation to the renewal framework for the supply and delivery of Heavy and Municipal Vehicles, available for all 32 council areas in Scotland and Scotland Excel Associate Members. It is anticipated this framework will incorporate various vehicle types, such as, but not limited to, refuse collection vehicles, winter maintenance vehicles, road sweeping vehicles, to more general use heavy vehicles. It is anticipated specialist body building services, as well as options for alternatively fuelled vehicles (electric, hydrogen or hybrid etc) will also be sought.
Scotland Excel members, may, if made available, seek to work with awarded suppliers to request lease quotations, understand vehicle buy back options, discuss disposal of aged fleet options and understand second hand vehicle purchase options for heavy and municipal vehicles.
