| 1 | The Park Authority invites suitably qualified and experienced applicants to submit a tender to undertake field survey and data collection of Aspen trees across the National Park with accompanying provision of results to the Park Authority. Applicants may tender for all or only some of the geographical extent of survey required, and/or may submit a combined tender with an associate to cover the whole extent of survey required. Some Aspen survey data already exists so not all of the National PThe Park Authority invites suitably qualified and experienced applicants to submit a tender to undertake field survey and data collection of Aspen trees across the National Park with accompanying provision of results to the Park Authority. Applicants may tender for all or only some of the geographical extent of survey required, and/or may submit a combined tender with an associate to cover the whole extent of survey required. Some Aspen survey data already exists so not all of the National Park extent will need to be surveyed. More details are given later in this document. Surveys are expected to be recorded using the Park Authorities bespoke mobile phone / tablet ‘Aspen app’ to record data. More details are given later in this document. Survey results will be used by the Park Authority to inform a Park wide Aspen strategy. This strategy will coordinate work to achieve a connected and fully ecological functioning network of Aspen trees and their reliant species. | £34,000 |
