Bus Network Analysis & Scheduling Software

This is to publish information regarding a Direct Award from Lot 2 (Cloud Software) of the GCA G-Cloud 14 Framework.

The contract is for the purchase of Bus Network Analysis & Scheduling Software, with a wide ranging functionality including:

• Network analysis
• Bus service and network re-design
• Bus timetable scheduling based upon bus speed data
• Demographic analysis
• Bus journey time / iscochrone mapping
• Bus service scheduling and cost assessments
• "Blocking" - modelling of bus workings at depot and service level to assess network peak vehicle requirements
• Demand responsive transport design
• Integration with DRT data from West Midlands on Demand Via booking system
• Shareable maps for stakeholder engagement
• Creation of custom maps for stakeholder engagement, internal comms, and reports

The contract is for a duration of 2 years, from 8th May 2026 until 7th May 2028, with a 1-year option to extend to a final, potential expiry date of 7th May 2029.
