Description

Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) has appointed a contractor for the construction of the Caldicot Multi User Route – Phase 1, a new approx. 500m long tarmacked pedestrian /cycle path running through Caldicot Castle Country Park in Monmouthshire, NP26 4HU, that will join up the northern end of the existing Caldicot Links path with the country park service road and create a strategic link in the local active travel network, creating multiple benefits for the local community, environment and economy.

The appointed contractor will undertake the role of Principle Contractor and deliver all the required works that include, though not exclusively: site clearance and preparation, earth works, drainage, surfacing, fencing, signage, seating, hard and soft landscaping, planting and reinstatement.
