Class 397 Heavy Maintenance Overhaul Partner

It is anticipated that the heavier maintenance overhaul programme this process seeks a delivery partner for, will begin in 2028 and run until no later than mid-2030 and will include tasks at the 750,000 Wheelset Overhaul (WOH), 900,000 Overhaul (OH), 1,500,000 Overhaul (OH) and 1,800,000 Overhaul (OH) mile periodicities. It may also include the Intermediate Maintenance Activities (‘IMA’) exams.
