Description
NCHA is seeking to appoint providers to deliver ad-hoc waste management services to supplement existing local authority provisions where they are not adequate to meet operational needs.
The requirement is for a responsive, flexible service capable of addressing a wide range of waste-related issues in both residential properties and surrounding environments. This includes urgent and unplanned works as well as more complex clearance tasks.
The scope of this contract covers the provision of ad hoc waste management services across the full geographical area served by NCHA
The value entered at this stage is not reflective of the anticipated contract value, as the Conditions of Participation (PSQ) stage is being used solely to assess supplier suitability and shortlist suppliers for invitation to tender. No commitment to expenditure is made at this stage. The contract value will be confirmed and published as part of the subsequent tender stage.

| 1 | Assets & Property Services Office & Maintenance WasteThis lot shall include, but not be limited to, the following service areas: • NCHA head office/maintenance depot • Satellite offices • Temporary sites related to responsive repairs, voids, planned and other works • Various parts of the East Midlands, including Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland. NCHA reserves the right to add to or remove from these areas during the Contract. 2.2 Waste Streams Office-Based Waste • General waste • Mixed dry recycling (paper, cardboard, plastic, cans) • Confidential waste • Food waste • Sanitary Waste • Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) • Batteries and small hazardous items (e.g. toner cartridges, fluorescent tubes) • Bulky waste/POPs (e.g. office furniture including chairs, desks etc) • Non hazardous clinical waste (e.g. sharps) Maintenance Waste • General construction and maintenance waste • Wood, metal, plasterboard and inert waste • Glass • WEEE (white goods, electrical items, smoke detectors, lamps & fluorescent tube etc) • Mattresses /bulky waste/ POPs • Paint (water based) • Gas canisters • Non hazardous clinical waste (e.g. sharps) | £100 |
