Description

This is a peer-led recovery support service delivered by volunteers with local knowledge and lived experience of alcohol and/or drug use.

Recovery Communities will collaborate with statutory services, third-sector partners, national recovery networks, and the wider Glasgow Recovery-Oriented System of Care to ensure individuals can access the full range of supports they need. This includes system-wide pathways into prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery support, employability and education. Clearly defined, actively maintained, and well-communicated pathways will enable individuals to move easily between services as their needs change, reducing barriers, preventing disengagement, and strengthening recovery outcomes across Glasgow’s communities.
