Description
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) polices 620 square miles and serves more than eight million people across one of the world's most dynamic and diverse cities. The MPS spends over £1 billion each year on a diverse range of goods and services, with the aim to procure them in the most cost effective and compliant way, whilst satisfying urgent operational needs.
MPS faces significant economic pressures and a budget deficit which must be remediated at pace, alongside delivery of priorities set out in the New Met for London 2 (NMfL2) to drive organisational reform, modernise policing and improve operations.
MPS have piloted a capability to drive improvements in our current operating environment and are seeking to continue that capability for the next 12 months.
