Provision of the necessary strategic, technical and
programme support in relation to third-party
schemes with significant impact on NH's customers
and assets. There remains a degree of uncertainly around many of the third-party
projects until the end of RIS3, including those which are currently paused by the developer and
the future pipeline of projects that may be managed by the Client.
Additionally, while we continue to collaborate closely with developers to understand any new
requirements or likely changes, the scope of work required is dependent on the timelines set by
third parties. Therefore, the support provided by the Consultant needs to be sufficiently flexible to strike a balance between being responsive and remaining efficient, including continued Client
access to a wide range of technical knowledge and expertise in order to meet changing priorities.
At the time of writing, the projects currently being managed by the Client, and are, therefore, likely
to require support from the Consultant, are as below: - Heathrow Expansion - East West Rail - Northern Powerhouse Rail - Grand Union Canal - New Towns - Policy and guidance development (Engagement and Capability Plan) - Team and group-wide programme management and capability development activities
More detail on the current position and milestones across each project, which may require support
from the Consultant, are set out below. This high level Team programme is refreshed monthly in line
with changing scope and priorities from third party developers.
