Dorset Integrated Sexual Health and Specialised HIV

Overall value for the procurement was £39,000,000 for both contracts ( HIV and Sexual Health).

This contract modification proposes a six-month extension and to include uplifts to the Dorset Integrated Sexual Health contract (Sexual Health element only), from 1 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

The contract covers both BCP and DC areas.

From a procurement perspective, the variation falls within Regulation 13(1)(d) of the Provider Selection Regime 2023.

• The change is required due to factors outside the authority's control,
• The contract value will remain within the original total advertised value and does not materially alter the nature of the contract,
• The uplift is less than 25% of the original value of £39,000,000 but exceeds £500,000. (£9,750,000)

A potential conflict of interest has been declared: an officer involved in the commissioning team also holds secondary employment with NHS Dorset. The officer has confirmed this has been disclosed and managed, and they have agreed to step back from any decision-making where a conflict could arise.
