Description
EMPHENT Collaboration Agreement. Project Supporting the Development of Public Health Capabilities in Eastern Mediterranean.
The contract establishes a continued partnership between the UK Health Security Agency’s International Health Regulations Strengthening Project (IHR SP) and Global Health Development/Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (GHD/EMPHNET) for the period 2026-2029. The IHR SP, funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) as an Official Development Assistance (ODA) programme, works to strengthen International Health Regulations (IHR, 2005) compliance across countries in Africa, Asia, the Indo‑Pacific, and the Middle East.
The Agreement secures a critical, proven partnership for delivering the IHR SP’s expanded three‑year workplan, ensuring programme resilience, operational efficiency, and sustained public health impact across the region.
