Fire safety works and curtain walling - Bicton - Accommodation blocks

The Cornwall College Group will be issuing a tender for the following works on its Bicton College campus (East Budleigh, Budleigh Salterton EX9 7BH), which will be released w/c 25 January 2027:

• Remediation and/or supply/replacement of FD30S internal fire door sets for 72 doors in total (36 in each block) in two ensuite residential accommodation blocks; Louden and Veitch.
• Fire stopping works to two ensuite residential accommodation blocks; Louden and Veitch.
• Supply and replacement of curtain walling in three residential accommodation blocks; Furze, Glendinning and Gilpin.
• The works will be required to take place over the summer break 2027 (5th July to 3rd September 2027) and one local contractor (within two hours normal travelling distance from their base/office) is sought to carry out all the works indicated above.
• The contract will commence on 01/04/2027 due to material lead times
