Folca 2 Phase 2 - Lead Designer Appointment

appointment of a lead designer for phase 2 design of Folca 2.

The Lead Designer is required to propose and present a fully integrated design team as part of their tender submission. This shall include all necessary disciplines and statutory roles, including a Principal Designer under CDM 2015, a Building Safety Act Principal Designer, and all relevant design consultants (e.g. architectural, structural, civil and M&E, and any other relevant consultants/specialists for the delivery of this brief), together with specialist input for medical centre development and a decarbonisation consultant to ensure compliance with funding requirement.

A BREEAM assessor has already been appointed for the duration of the project.

Building control has been appointed for Phase 1 and will continue throughout Phase 2.

NB: both contracts fully executed 10 July 2026.
