Description
Project Management role for Eccles & Leigh Refurbishments
- Project Management and Delivery
o Oversee and coordinate the design teams for the refurbishment projects, progressing them from through RIBA Stage 3 to RIBA Stage 4.
o Lead the procurement process for contractors for all projects, including preparation of tender documentation, tender evaluations, and contract award.
o Monitor the construction phase, ensuring that all works are completed in line with the agreed programmes, specifications, and quality standards.
- Financial Management
o Support the preparation, management, and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring delivery within approved financial constraints.
o Provide regular financial updates, including cash flow forecasts, budget monitoring reports, and any required change requests.
- Programme Management
o Develop and maintain detailed project and programme plans for all schemes.
o Identify and address potential delays, escalating critical issues to GMCA/GMFRS as necessary.
o Attend and chair key meetings, including design team reviews, risk workshops, and progress updates.
- Risk and Compliance
o Maintain comprehensive risk registers for all projects and implement mitigation strategies as required.
o Ensure compliance with all statutory and GMCA/GMFRS-specific requirements, including procurement regulations, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement
o Act as the primary point of contact between GMCA/GMFRS, the design teams, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
o Facilitate clear and consistent communication to align expectations and maintain progress.
