Installation of new Boiler & Associated Plant at Barden View

The Provider shall carry out the isolation, removal, replacement, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical plant and associated services at Barden View Independent Living Scheme. The

works shall include, but not be limited to:

• Isolation and safe drain down of the existing heating and domestic water systems.
• Removal and lawful disposal of the existing boiler, gas-fired hot water cylinder, pumps, and all associated redundant pipework.
• Supply and installation of 1 no. I 100kW boiler, including plate-to-plate heat exchanger and associated pipework.
• Supply and installation of 1 no. 250-litre unvented hot water cylinder.
• Installation of 2 no. pressurisation units serving both boiler and system circuits.
• Replacement of expansion vessels.
• Supply and installation of new heating and domestic hot water pump sets.
• Upgrades to heating controls, including 7-day control panel and associated control systems.
• Installation of new safety devices, including gas solenoid valve (emergency shut-off).
• Renewal, insulation, and identification of all newly installed pipework in accordance with current standards.
• Builder's works including making good and redecoration of plantroom floor and walls following removal of existing plant and flues.
