Installation of Temporary Centralised Battery System (CBS) for emergency lighting in Brooksby Building following fire

Following a small fire in the battery room of the Brooksby Buildings CBS the building is now without emergency lighting which will impact the cold start of the building and a knock-on effect on testing and opening for science.

Following guidance from Management and completing HAZOP we wish to purchase the equipment and house it in a temporary container which will reinstate the Emergency light provision for the building, moving all the equipment at a date agreed with our insurers.
