Description

Herefordshire Council is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify organisations with the capability and interest to provide Drug and Alcohol Recovery Services across Herefordshire.

The purpose of this RFI is to help the Council better understand the current market, including available service delivery models, innovative approaches to provision, market capacity, and supplier interest in a potential future procurement opportunity.

The Council is currently considering arrangements for a new contract, anticipated to commence in April 2028. The contract term has not yet been determined; however, the Council is currently considering a contract duration of up to 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years.

As the service specification is currently under development, the Council welcomes responses from organisations with relevant expertise and experience. Information gathered through this RFI will be used solely to inform the Council's commissioning intentions, service design and procurement approach.

This RFI does not constitute a call for competition, invitation to tender, award procedure, or commitment by the Council to undertake any future procurement exercise.
