The study will include the Park’s three major long-distance routes - the West Highland Way, the Rob Roy Way, and The Great Trossachs Path, as well as other long-distance routes that are within or are adjacent to a new Landscape Connections initiative area. The commission will assess opportunities, constraints, demand and delivery requirements, culminating in an options appraisal and phased delivery plan that sets out practical short-, medium- and long-term actions to support sustainable travel, nature-rich experiences and long-term stewardship of the National Park’s woodland mosaic.
