Description
Hywel Dda University Health Board is renewing the maintenance contract for the Infant Ventilators utilised across the Health Board. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is Inspiration Healthcare LTD, and are designed for neonatal and paediatric intensive care, providing both invasive and non-invasive respiratory support. They are used to treat premature babies weighing as little as 300 grams by delivering synchronized, accurate breaths, compensating for air leaks, and supporting natural breathing mechanics to prevent lung injury.
The contract provides comprehensive cover for all devices, across the 5-year period, utilising NHS Supply Chain framework reference 2021/S000-021535.
