NewcastleGateshead Local Plan - Retail and Town Centre Study

Gateshead Council and Newcastle City Council are jointly preparing the new NewcastleGateshead Local Plan, which will set the spatial strategy and policies for development up to 2045. To support this work, the Councils have commissioned a Retail and Town Centre Study to provide a robust and up-to-date evidence base to inform plan-making, policy development and decision-making relating to retail, town centres, leisure and other main town centre uses.
