Description
J. Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced civil engineering subcontractors for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes.
The framework will provide call off opportunities aligned to regional delivery teams and project locations.
Project Portfolio Includes:
Network Rail CP7
TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU)
Peel Ports
Other rail and infrastructure projects across England
Scope of Services:
The framework will cover the provision of ground investigation services, including:
Intrusive Ground Investigation
Percussion boring
Rotary drilling
Trial pitting
Structure coring
Sampling & Site Data Collection
Soil, rock and groundwater sampling
Disturbed and undisturbed sampling techniques
Installation monitoring and inspection
Automatic Ballast Sampling (ABS), where required
In Situ Testing
Standard Penetration Testing (SPT)
Cone Penetration Testing (CPT)
Plate load and permeability testing
Other in situ testing methods as appropriate
Geophysical & Specialist Testing
Non intrusive geophysical surveys
Subsurface profiling and detection techniques
Instrumentation & Monitoring
Supply and installation of instrumentation
Monitoring and data collection (e.g. inclinometers, piezometers)
Anchoring systems and associated ancillary components
Laboratory Testing
Geotechnical laboratory testing of soil, rock and groundwater samples
