Description
J. Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced civil engineering subcontractors for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes.
The framework will provide call off opportunities aligned to regional delivery teams and project locations.
Project Portfolio Includes:
Network Rail CP7
TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU)
Peel Ports
Other rail and infrastructure projects across England
Scope of Services:
The framework will cover the provision of scaffolding supply, installation and associated services, including:
Scaffolding Design & Engineering
Design of scaffolding solutions to meet project specific requirements
Provision of temporary works designs and calculations where required
Development of safe systems for access, support and protection
Scaffolding Supply & Installation
Erection, alteration and dismantling of scaffolding structures
Provision of a range of scaffold types, including:
Independent scaffolds
Birdcage scaffolds
Cantilever scaffolds
Mobile towers
Access scaffolds for structures and infrastructure assets
Installation of edge protection, handrails, ladders and safe access systems
Inspection, Maintenance & Compliance
Statutory scaffold inspections in accordance with regulations (e.g. Working at Height Regulations)
Ongoing maintenance, adjustments and safety checks
Tagging and certification of scaffolding structures
Specialist & Complex Access Solutions
Scaffolding for restricted, complex or high risk environments, including:
Rail, highways and infrastructure corridors
Confined or live operational sites
Integration with other access methods (e.g. rope access where required)
Temporary Works & Ancillary Items
Provision of temporary structures such as:
Temporary roofs and encapsulation systems
Hoardings and site protection measures
Debris netting and containment systems
Planned & Reactive Services
Planned scaffolding works aligned to project programmes
Emergency and reactive call outs to support urgent access and safety requirements
