P23 - Delivery of Trust Capital Programme 2027 - 2030

The intention subject to approval is to run a mini-competition via Construction Works and Associated Services 2 (CWAS2) / ProCure 23 (P23) - Lot 1.1

A programme of multiple major capital projects across a 3-year period. Projects

envisaged (subject to approval) in year 1 include:

o FRH Ward Refurbishment

o FRH Central Ops Recovery Refurbishment

o Leazes Wing Main Entrance Refurbishment

o RVI Theatres 1, 2, 2a

o Maternity Upgrade and Refurbishment programme

A programme of critical infrastructure schemes (high and significant backlog)

predominantly at the RVI and Freeman sites.

Year 2 and Year 3 projects are expected to be broadly similar in content and scale.
