Description

Orbit is seeking to procure solutions for its Planned Investment - Property/Home Improvement, Compliance Services - Phase i: Mechanical & Electrical Services 1 (the Works), to its housing stock in the Midlands, South and East of England.

The contracts will be for an initial term of three (3) years extendable at the Client's sole discretion for the option of additional three (3) years plus two (2) additional periods of two (2) years, giving a total of ten (10) years.

The contracts will contain a 12 month termination for convenience clause.

The estimated contract value for all Lots across all work types for the maximum ten (10) years is £95.5 million.

The scope of the Works includes, but is not limited to:

  • The Servicing and Maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment to include the regular inspection, testing, cleaning, and repairing of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment to safety, reliability, and compliance with legal standards whilst preventing shocks, fires, and unexpected failures.
  • The Testing and Remediation work to Electrical and Mechanical Equipment including investigation, design, advice, or other activities undertaken to assess, manage, and rectify potential defects and risks posed to the building residents and/or general public or to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and technical standards.
