Provision of Processing West of England Mattress Waste 2026

The West of England Partnership (which comprises of South Gloucestershire Council (SGC) Bristol City Council (BCC) Bath & North East Somerset Council (B&NES) and North Somerset Council (NSC) are seeking a Mattress Processing Contract for an initial period of 1 year plus with the option to extend for a further period/period of 2 years.

The fundamental purpose of the Contract is to provide reliable, effective and satisfactory processing of Mattress Waste originating from members of the public to the The Partnership HWRCs and any mattresses collected at the transfer stations in such a way as to protect the environment

The Contract may be awarded to 1 or more Contractors depending on the capacity of bidders’ sites, Where there are multiple Contracts awarded, contract waste will be divided between these Contracts.
