Description

South Lanarkshire Council have an ongoing requirement for Road Materials Testing for use by Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services.

The purpose of this contract is to support the construction, maintenance and management of the Council's road network. The contract will ensure that materials used in highways works meet the required standards and specifications, supporting compliance, quality assurance, public safety and effective asset management.

The testing required is inclusive of, but not limited to items such as bituminous materials, concrete, coring, geotechnical, surface dressing and other roads related sampling.

The contract is for the period 13 May 2027 – 12 May2030 with the option to extend for a further period of up to 24 months.
