Description
An existing gabion wall, retaining a slope and footpath above, within Annick Water is in a deteriorated state. If no remediate works in the form of scour protection are undertaken, this may lead to a slope stability issue of the greater slope.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance (East Ayrshire Council), wish to prevent any further deterioration of this structure and prevent any slope stability issues from as a result of the failing wall. Thus interventional remediation measures are required to protect the bank and slope toe form further erosion.
