Removal of Spring Hangers - Hinkley Point A

The requirement is for the design and delivery of works to safely remove spring hanger assemblies associated with Reactor 1 and Reactor 2 at Hinkley Point A. The scope is anticipated to include the design and installation of temporary supports, de-energisation of springs, removal of spring hanger assemblies in their entirety, and removal of temporary works. The objective is to permanently eliminate the hazard presented by ageing spring hanger equipment and reduce the risk of future failures as part of the site's decommissioning programme.
