The scope includes site survey and verification of existing T‑bar geometry and condition, design confirmation against current load cases and standards, offsite fabrication of new steel T‑sections (including cutting, drilling and preparation to match existing interfaces), installation of the new sections on site, and reinstatement of any connected components or services. The contractor shall provide all necessary temporary works, lifting and access arrangements, carry out welding and bolting to recognised structural steel standards, apply the specified protective coating system where required, and complete inspection, testing and certification (e.g. visual inspection, dimensional checks, and non‑destructive testing where indicated). As‑built drawings, material certificates and installation records for all replaced T‑bar sections are to be supplied on completion. The T-bar sections are 450mm wide, 65mm thick for the top section and 140mm thick then 323mm wide for the lower half of the T. We require 2x 60m lengths of T-bar. | — |
