Spectroil Maintenance

The Spectroil M machines are utilised to perform analysis of oil samples from the F-35 engine and lift fan. The Authority intends to assess the market to identify suppliers who can provide diagnostic and repair services in support of the Spectroil M machines. The proposed requirement will cover the annual servicing, calibration and repair of the equipment, with an option for ad-hoc consumables.

The Contractor will be responsible for:

• One annual preventative Maintenance visit per year, per unit for the four Spectroil M machines, inclusive of all required parts and spares.
• Ad-hoc supply of consumables (The Authority may utilise this as an option).
• Call out locations shall be limited to the UK.

The MoD is seeking details about the support packages suppliers routinely provide to the market with regards to repair callouts and consumables. The MoD is keen to understand what approaches to supporting of these machines might present the best value for money.
