Supply of Precast Concrete Shaft Segments

Severn Trent Water (STW) intend to procure precast concrete shaft segments for use in shaft tank construction across our AMP8 capital programme. We are interested in hearing from suppliers that can manufacture and hold stock of Precast Shaft Segments for use in construction of new Shaft Tank stormwater storage solutions for infra and non-infra sites. These would be to install across the STW network.

Shaft Segments for manufacture and stockholding shall cover various sizes between 5m Internal Diameter shafts and 25m Internal Diameter shafts.

Features of the stocked product are expected to include, but not limited to:

• Designed to relevant standards and regulations for water storing concrete structures suitable for wastewater.
• Proven design that has been fitted and in use in the UK Water Industry or equivalent industries
• Supplied product suitable for underpinning, caisson and chimney construction methods
• Supplied product shall include appropriate jointing and sealing features to deliver a watertight structure
