Description
Technical Consultancy Framework shall be a multi-lot framework. Works shall be awarded in line Framework Call-Off Procedure.
The framework shall consist of 5 lots covering numerous disciplines:
- Engineering & Technical Analysis,
- Modelling, Simulation & Analytics,
- Strategic Technical Consultancy,
- Technical Assurance, Safety & Quality,
- Market Modelling Design & Economics.
Once established works under the framework shall be awarded via a combination of competitive allocation and direct allocation.

Consultancy and advice in this area may include, but not limited to, consultancy relating to the following topics: • Power system modelling • Scenario analysis • Network & demand forecasting & planning support • Digital simulations • Nodal Plexos (or equivalent) modelling • Integrated energy system planning • Flexibility & Future System Modelling • Climate and Resilience analysis and modelling • Energy transition analysis and modelling • Decarbonisation modelling Please note; Lot 2 does not include the procurement of data models or the provision of software and services packages.
