The Supply and Installation of Racking within Sterile Services

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP), on behalf of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTM UHB), invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers for the design, manufacture, supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of a replacement stainless-steel racking system within the Sterile Services Store at Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Llantrisant.

The requirement is to provide a fixed 316-grade stainless steel racking solution that increases storage capacity, improves operational efficiency and safe manual handling practices, and supports the secure storage of sterile instrument trays within a healthcare environment.

The successful contractor will be responsible for undertaking site surveys, detailed design, manufacture, installation, testing, load certification and commissioning of the system, together with the provision of all associated compliance documentation, staff training, warranty support and post-installation review. The proposed solution must comply with all relevant health and safety, infection prevention, sterile services and healthcare standards.

The estimated value of the contract is £50,000 excluding VAT. Mandatory site visits are required prior to submission of a tender
