Description
Scottish Water is committed to supporting the transition to a low-carbon fleet and continues to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its estate throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>To support this objective, Scottish Water intends to appoint a single Contractor to provide a comprehensive end-to-end service for the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>The appointed Contractor will be expected to work collaboratively with Scottish Water to support the ongoing development of its EV charging network, ensuring infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with all relevant industry standards and legislation.<br/><br/>Further information can be found within section II.2.4) Description of the procurement of this advert.<br/><br/>Full scope information found within the PQQ documentation on the Scottish Water Atamis Portal. | 1 | Scottish Water is committed to supporting the transition to a low-carbon fleet and continues to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its estate throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>To support this objective, Scottish Water intends to appoint a single Contractor to provide a comprehensive end-to-end service for the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>The appointed Contractor will Scottish Water is committed to supporting the transition to a low-carbon fleet and continues to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across its estate throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>To support this objective, Scottish Water intends to appoint a single Contractor to provide a comprehensive end-to-end service for the supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electric vehicle charging infrastructure throughout Scotland.<br/><br/>The appointed Contractor will be expected to work collaboratively with Scottish Water to support the ongoing development of its EV charging network, ensuring infrastructure is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with all relevant industry standards and legislation.<br/><br/>The successful Contractor shall provide a fully managed service for the delivery of EV charging infrastructure, including but not limited to:<br/>• Supply of AC and DC electric vehicle charging equipment<br/>• Site surveys, design and feasibility assessments where required<br/>• Civil engineering and electrical installation works<br/>• Installation and commissioning of EV charging equipment<br/>• Associated electrical infrastructure and enabling works<br/>• Testing and certification of completed installations<br/>• Planned preventative maintenance<br/>• Reactive maintenance and repair services<br/>• Equipment replacement and lifecycle support<br/>• Technical support and fault resolution services<br/>• Asset reporting and performance monitoring<br/><br/>The contract will support installations at Scottish Water operational sites and facilities throughout Scotland and may include depot locations, offices, treatment works and other operational premises.<br/><br/>Scottish Water intends to appoint a single Contractor to manage and deliver the full scope of services.<br/><br/>The Contractor shall act as the principal point of contact and be responsible for managing all activities associated with the provision of EV charging infrastructure and related services.<br/><br/>The Contractor shall demonstrate the capability and capacity to deliver services on a Pan-Scotland basis, including remote and rural locations where required.<br/><br/>The Contractor must demonstrate the capability to undertake the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer where required under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).<br/><br/>As a minimum requirement, the appointed Contractor must demonstrate compliance with the following:<br/>• IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) – Current Edition (18th Edition)<br/>• Relevant EV charging installation standards and guidance<br/>• Member of electrical trade body – SELECT (or equivalent) <br/>• Electricity at Work Regulations<br/>• Health and Safety at Work Act requirements<br/>• All applicable Scottish Water standards, policies and procedures<br/><br/>Full scope information and further information can be found within the PQQ documentation located within the Scottish Water Atamis portal.
