The Supply of Bikeability Training in Cumbria

Cumberland Council has sourced a provider to deliver The Supply of Bikeability Training in Cumbria. The Council in partnership with Westmorland and Furness Council have engaged with a provider with capacity and the required skills and experience to deliver a service for the Provision Bikeability Training across Cumbria.

The Services shall comprise the delivery of Bikeability cycle training across schools in both the Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council footprints and will be funded by the Department for Transport and Active Travel England. The service is to be carried out to the standards set by the Department for Transport and Active Travel England.

The term is a 4-year Agreement commencing 1 April 2026. The programme supports the promotion of safe and active travel for pupils and will be delivered by a specialist cycle training provider
