Transitional Care Beds - Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust has concluded a Provider Selection Regime procurement for the provision of Transitional Care Bed Services across Lincolnshire.

The service provides short-term bed-based care for individuals who are medically optimised for discharge from acute hospital settings but are not yet able to return home safely. The service supports timely discharge, promotes recovery and independence, and helps reduce unnecessary hospital length of stay.

Following completion of the Provider Selection Regime process, Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust intends to award the contract to Care For Your Life Ltd and Orchard House Nursing Home Ltd.

The contract will commence on 01 August 2026 and expire on 31 July 2029, with an estimated total contract value of £5,254,315.00.

The provider was selected in accordance with the Healthcare Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 and the procurement documentation issued by the Authority.
