Description
University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is seeking a supplier to provide an occupational eyecare service for its employees. The service covers eye and eyesight testing and the supply of appropriate eyewear for display screen equipment users, employees requiring prescription protective eyewear, and corporate drivers, enabling UHB to discharge its statutory duties under the Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 (as amended) and related legislation. The supplier will operate an online booking and voucher hub, a network of affiliated optometrists across the West Midlands, an employee helpline, and quarterly management information reporting. The contract is for five years with an option to extend for two further twelve-month periods.
