  • Act as the interface with the Water 2100 think tank membership, ensuring the process is recognised as independent of the Environment Agency and represents the wider knowledge and interests of the membership.
  • Develop a work programme tailoring/designing a series of participatory sessions, detailing tools and method selection in line with the agreed methodology.
  • Deliver a series of participatory sessions including up to 6 face-to-face sessions plus additional on-line sessions where required, working with trained Environment Agency facilitators where supporting facilitation is required.
  • Support the Think Tank in building a shared understanding of the water-land system and its future state.
  • Support the Think Tank in building a shared understanding and view of plausible and preferred future states and trajectories.
  • Support the Think Tank to define and prioritise systemic challenges and their underlying drivers and patterns.
  • Work with the Water 2100 Programme Team to shape any materials/inputs to support the activities of the Think Tank and to respond to its information requirements.
  • Co-ordinate, with support from the W2100 Programme Team, sense-making from the Think Tank's deliberations, driving the process and recording these as interim and final outputs.
  • Manage interactions between the Think Tank, wider expertise, and commissioned academics as part of co-creating interventions, pathways or ways forward
  • Lead authorship and editorial responsibility for the final participatory research report which may be taken forward into wider strategic thinking, delivery or further research.
