Description
Toucan have identified a need to support CYP Mental Health Winter Pressures. This is specifically related to strengthening the support and management of CYP presenting in Emergency Departments and Acute pathways and needs to align to the following outcomes:
- Reduce Avoidable Mental Health attendances to emergency departments (EDs);
- Support rapid and safe discharge from A&E (i.e. avoid 4hr / 12hr breaches);
- Reduce avoidable emergency admissions to general acute hospitals or mental health hospitals;
- Facilitate earlier discharge from general or T4 mental health hospitals
