Youth alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping and gambling survey and insights

Wokingham Borough Council is seeking to commission an experienced provider to deliver a mixed methods behavioural insight project exploring alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping and gambling behaviours among secondary school aged children and young people living in Wokingham Borough. The project will generate both quantitative and qualitative evidence to develop an understanding of the prevalence of these behaviours, the factors influencing them, and opportunities for prevention and early intervention.

The successful provider will engage diverse groups of young people, including underrepresented and higher risk populations, and may also undertake stakeholder engagement with schools, parents/carers, youth services and other relevant professionals.

Findings will directly inform local commissioning, prevention strategies, service development and efforts to reduce health inequalities.
