Description
Provision of Employers Agent (EA) services in connection with both the Highways and Rail elements of the Liverpool Baltic Pre-construction and Construction phases of the project. Procurement will be via competition using suppliers selected from Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Professional Services Framework. The remit of the eventual appointed supplier will entail representing the client's interests across a range of project functions including: Pre-Construction and Detail Design: Assisting and reviewing the development of the detail design packages for the project and supporting programme. Contract Administration: Overseeing the construction works, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with the contract. Cost Management: Monitoring project costs, agreeing on variations, and managing claims. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the project is built to the required quality standards. Communication: Acting as the primary point of contact between the client and the contractor, facilitating clear communication and resolving issues while supporting the implementation if the Project Communications and Engagement Strategy. CDM: Ensuring the project is delivered fully in accordance with statutory requirements as appointed 'Client' under CDM.
