Description

Unite Procurement UK Limited (part of Unite Holding SE), on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, is seeking suppliers to join the Unite Procurement Platform to support the Supply of Bodyworn Energy Data Logger. The procurement covers the supply of specialist power measurement equipment designed to accurately measure and log power consumption from soldier-carried and operated systems.

Objectives

  • Purchase of equipment capable of measuring the power usage of operator-carried systems
  • Continued storage and issue of power loggers to projects, thereby informing overall power demand
  • Measurement and data processing of power information
  • Nett Warrior connector compatibility

Exclusions

  • Prolonged data analysis
  • Equipment updates or upgrades
  • Adaptors required for non-compatible equipment (responsibility of the system under test)
  • Operating costs for the equipment (a secondary activity for personnel already engaged in the projects under test)
  1. Technical Requirements
  • Must measure power draw from a battery source to a connected portable system
  • Must be compatible with Nett Warrior connectors
  • Must export data at Official classification
  • Must be supplied with appropriate connectors to interface with standard computers (expected: USB)

Acceptance Criteria

Upon delivery, a brief trial of each item will be conducted, including monitoring of power used by a representative system, followed by upload of data to a standalone laptop. Successful completion of this trial will constitute acceptance and clearance for use in future activities.

Acceptance criteria include successful power measurement recording, accurate data export, and successful data transfer to standard computer systems via USB interface.

How to Apply

Interested suppliers should register their interest by contacting Unite Procurement UK Limited and provide details of their product range, technical specifications, and delivery capabilities. Further information on the onboarding process for the Unite Procurement Platform will be provided upon expression of interest.
